In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the float in an Audi A6. This is a simple operation, but it requires removing the fuel pump since the two components are directly connected. First, disconnect the battery. Then, flip up the right rear seat, lift the carpet, and remove the large circular cap indicated. Next, disconnect both the power connector and the two hoses, and unscrew the outer ring of the pump. Once removed, take out the old float, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
