How to Replace the Diesel Fuel Pump on an Audi A6?

To replace the diesel fuel pump on an Audi A6, first disconnect the battery and remove the rear seats. To remove the seats, lift from the center of each seat, then raise and pull back from the two corners. Once the two connectors are disconnected, the seats can be removed. Access the pump by loosening the screws that secure its protective cover: by removing the fuel lines and the connector, you can take out the old pump from its housing. The new pump can then be inserted and connected to the respective hoses. Finally, reinstall all previously removed parts.
