Removing the Fuel Pump Assembly from an Audi A6

This video explains how to remove the fuel pump from an Audi A6. First, disconnect the battery cables. Next, remove the rear seat cushion from the vehicle. You will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Use a socket wrench to loosen the screws securing the metal cap and remove it from its place. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with absorbent paper, then use a chisel to loosen the large securing pin. Finally, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Extract the fuel pump assembly from the tank.
