Removing the Shift Boot on Audi A4

Model: Audi A4 B8 - Years 2007-2016

In this short but effective video, you will see how to remove the shift boot on the Audi A4 B8. First, disconnect the shift boot, which is attached with metal clips: simply pull it upward to remove it. Once done, you will see that the boot is secured by a metal clamp that you will need to unscrew: this will allow you to finally remove it and replace it with a new one. It is recommended to install the original shift boot replacement as it is much more durable than a compatible aftermarket part (and also looks better).
