How to Replace the Shift Knob Boot on an Audi A4

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Audi A4. First, remove the shift knob by unscrewing it. Next, disengage the shift knob boot from its housing. This will free the shift boot itself. At this point, remove the shift knob boot, and you will have successfully completed the disassembly. To install the new shift knob boot, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
