If you want to replace the gear knob of your Audi A4 yourself, which is located inside the cabin, you just need to follow the steps described in the following guide. First of all, make sure you have a new gear knob compatible with your Audi A4, then get into the car and remove the protective cover located under the gear lever. Then use pliers to break the metal ring and remove the gear knob. Finally, install the new gear knob and properly reposition the protective cover.
