Operation: How do you replace the gear knob on the Audi A4 B8?

In order to replace the gear knob on the Audi A4 B8, you need to detach the fixing clips that block the leather gaiter at the base of its housing. By removing these clips, it will be possible to lift the gaiter and access the hook which joins the gear gaiter to the knob itself. By removing this hook, it will be possible to remove both the knob and the relative leather gaiter from the upper part of the gearbox. At this point, the new knob can be installed by inserting it into the final part of the gear lever and then the gaiter can be fixed to the base.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
