In this video tutorial, you will learn how to replace the worn shift knob on an Audi A4 B6. The process takes just a few minutes and is not very complex. First, pry up the trim below the shifter to remove it; use a plastic tool if you have trouble releasing it. Next, remove the boot and disconnect the clamp by cutting it with scissors. At this point, slide off the boot along with the knob: if desired, replace both the knob and the boot. Once everything is done, proceed to reassemble the components!
