To be able to replace the gear knob on the Audi A4 B6, you need to open the fastening clips that secure the lower part of the leather upholstery to the rest of the center console. Once the clips have been removed, the leather cover must be completely raised, making the inside of the lever visible. Here there will be a hook that fixes the knob to the lever: the hook will have to be removed, thus allowing the knob to be removed. At this point, the new knob with its covering can be positioned above the lever and connected to the relative hook. Finally, it will be necessary to insert the clips of the lower part of the covering in the appropriate housing.
