A key and an extractor are required for this operation. Remove the wheel and unscrew the nut on the wheel hub. Effectively tie up the entire suspension arm block so that it does not fall during the operation. Unscrew and extract the arm retaining pins from the suspension using the special extractor. Also disconnect the steering linkage. Using a spanner and ratchet remove all suspension bolts. Unscrew the retaining screws of the brake unit with a Torx 30 wrench. Remove the electric cables of the brake and with the extractor remove the whole brake assembly from the hub. Unscrew the nut on the head of the cover and remove it completely for easy access. Unscrew the three bolts holding the suspension and extract it completely downwards. Using the special equipment, stretch the spring to allow the exhausted shock absorber to be extracted and replaced with a new one. Also replace the spring and the rubber boot. Refit the suspension on the car proceeding in reverse order.
