When you try to use the electronic key to access your Audi A6 but do not get a response from the car (for example, the doors do not open), it is a sign that the key battery is dead. To solve this problem, you need to replace the battery. For this, you will need a thin but sturdy tool, preferably made of plastic, to avoid damaging the key cover. Start by inserting the tip into the upper slot and prying it open. This will remove the rear cover, giving you access to the dead battery. To remove it, simply pull it out, and you will have completed the disassembly. At this point, to install the new battery and close the key, just repeat these few steps in reverse, and you will have finished the replacement.
