How to Replace the Key Battery of an Audi A6

Before starting, press the button located on the top of the key for your Audi A6. Begin by extracting and removing the physical key from inside the electronic key. Next, dislodge and remove the battery section of the key to access the dead battery. At this point, dislodge it from its housing. Once you complete this step, you can fully remove the battery, and disassembly will be finished. To install the new battery and close everything up, simply reverse these steps, and the replacement will be complete.
