How to replace the rear light bulb on an Audi A6

Model: Audi A6 C6, MK 3 - Years 2004-2012

Before starting, we will have to open the tailgate of the luggage compartment of our Audi A6. So let's start by disengaging and removing the internal cover on the side of the luggage compartment. Next, we will have to unscrew and remove the light fixing bolt, and we will have freed the light itself. We then proceed by extracting the light from its seat. At this point we will have to disengage and remove the lamp holder, and we will have reached the burned out bulb. When we have completed this last step, we will have to disengage and remove the bulb, and we will have successfully completed the disassembly. To fit the new bulb and reassemble the headlight, we will only have to repeat these instructions in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
