How do you change the battery in the key for an Audi A6? Let’s see how to remove the battery from the Audi key if it is dead or irreparably damaged. Take your remote and use a lever to separate the two plastic parts of the key. Once separated, take the plastic key part without the key blade. Remove the worn battery from the housing, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the plastic parts of the key half, then join the previously separated key parts. Press the buttons and check if the key works.
