Replacing the Axle Boot on Audi A4

Remove the wheel on the affected side and lift the vehicle. Take off the brake caliper from the brake rotor using some WD-40 and unscrewing the mounting bolts.

Also, remove the brake rotor and then unscrew the central bolt, as clearly shown in the video. Position a jack stand under the axle and remove everything in front of the joint by unscrewing the bolts to access it. Clean the joint area with a suitable brush and cut the clamps, then you can unscrew it. Follow the video to complete the operation, removing the snap ring and proceeding in reverse for reassembly.
