To be able to replace the constant velocity joint it is necessary to remove the drive shaft: before lifting the car, unscrew the central pin that fixes the drive shaft to the hub; then lift the car on a lift and complete the disassembly of the wheel; then unscrew the pins that secure the flange connecting the semi-shaft to the gearbox and complete its disassembly; once the drive shaft has been positioned on the work bench, remove the cap and extract the old constant velocity joint; then insert the new boot on the drive shaft, grease the new joint abundantly and apply it to the drive shaft taking care not to damage the coupling pin on the hub (hit with a rubber hammer or use a piece of wood to hit with a hammer); finally fix the cap with the clamps.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
