After that, open the bonnet and remove the dipstick and the oil filler cap. Allow all the oil to drain out, then open the new filter. Use a funnel to pour the required amount of oil into the engine oil filler, checking the level with the dipstick.

Once you have confirmed there are no oil leaks, you can start the vehicle.
