Replace the Remote Battery on Audi Q5

Replacing the remote battery on your Audi Q5 is a DIY task you can easily do at home with patience and the right replacement battery. Start by removing the metal key from the remote; pull it out from the chrome side of the remote. On the same side, the battery insert is hidden. It is secured in the remote by two side clips, so when you pull out the insert, make sure not to damage them or the battery will lose electrical contact. Once removed, dispose of the old battery in a proper container, replace it with the new one, and reassemble the remote in the reverse order of how it was illustrated.
