Audi A3 - Video tutorial
Model: Audi A3
MK 2, 8P
- Years 2003-2013 In this video we will show you how to replace the timing belt of the Audi A3. First of all, remove the water tank and the wiper tank to access the affected area. Then remove the oil filter by marking the position of the pipes (flow and return) with colored insulating tape. After lifting the engine with a jack, remove the engine support from the distribution side by unscrewing the four bolts. Remove the cover from the distribution compartment. Release the belt tensioner and remove the timing belt. Unscrew the four thousand row bolts of the pulley and remove it. Remove the cover by unscrewing the five screws. Fit the crankshaft lock so that the pulleys are locked. Remove the old timing belt from the pulleys and replace both the pulleys and the belt. Now reassemble the various parts following the reverse path.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto? To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood. by ScegliAuto More videos
