To replace the starter motor on the Audi A3, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. You will need to unscrew the bolts securing the battery, disconnect the cables, and remove the battery from its housing. Once the battery is removed, unscrew the bolts holding the panel underneath, which protects the starter motor. After removing this panel, you can unscrew the bolts securing the starter motor, disconnect its cables and connectors, and remove it from its housing, replacing it with a new one.
