How to Replace the Cabin Filter on an Audi A4 B8

Let's see how to replace the cabin filter (also known as the pollen filter) on an Audi A4. Move the passenger seat all the way back. Remove the fasteners for the lower dashboard cover and tilt it upward. Remove the cover of the cabin filter housing. At this point, you can take out the filter from its housing. Clean the area where you will install the new filter, then place it in position, ensuring the airflow arrow is correctly oriented. Reinstall the cover of the cabin filter housing; it should click into place. Reattach the lower cover of the glove compartment. Tighten the fasteners for the lower dashboard cover. Test the system by turning on the climate control. You should not smell any bad odors in the cabin.
