To change the battery in the Audi Q5 key remote, press the button located on the chrome part of the remote and pull out the key, then press the same button again to remove the battery with its housing; take the new battery (battery code CR 2032) and remove it from the packaging. Now take the battery from its housing and pry it upward to remove it, then insert the new battery. Take the battery with its housing and insert it into the remote, making sure the button to remove it is facing the side without the buttons for locking, unlocking the car, and opening the trunk until you hear a click; now you can reinsert the key into the remote and test the new battery.
