To replace the diesel filter of the Audi A3, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment. The diesel filter is located inside, at the bottom left of the engine block.

To remove the filter from its housing, disconnect the securing bolts and the fuel lines. This way, the old filter can be pulled out and replaced with a new one; once it is secured with screws and connected to the fuel lines, close the bonnet.
