To reset the MMI system on an Audi A4 B9, turn on the instrument cluster to power up the radio. Then, press the NAV/MAP button and the circular button in the center of the control panel simultaneously. You will notice that the radio display will turn off and then automatically turn back on. This will successfully reset the MMI system, restoring all radio settings to their original state. After the operation, you can turn off the instrument cluster.
