Replacing Brake Rotors
Model: Audi A6
MK 2, C5
- Years 1997-2004
The braking system of the car is one of the key factors for the safety of the driver. This guide shows how to replace the brake rotors of your car. Once the rotor caliper is facing you, lift the car with a jack and remove the bolts that secure the caliper to the frame. After the car is lifted, finish removing the wheel bolts to take the wheel off. Almost always, due to oxidation, the bolts are hard to unscrew; you can use penetrating oil to help, so the brake caliper will come off easily. Then, remove the brake pads with a flathead screwdriver without damaging the rotor. You will then only need to remove the brake rotor by striking it with a hammer until it comes off. Once the rust is removed, without damaging the components, you can take the new rotor and install it.

How to Remove an EGR Valve from a Land Rover Freelander
This video shows how to remove an EGR valve from a Land Rover Freelander. Lift the bonnet and secure it, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, removing the piece from the engine bay. Start unscrewing the fixing pins of the EGR valve as shown in the video. Once the piece is removed from its seat, unscrew the screws present on it with a screwdriver. Disconnect the power connectors from the valve, and remove it from the engine bay. Once the piece is removed, install the new EGR valve in the engine bay with the associated parts. Finally, reassemble the ventilation pipe in the engine bay after cleaning it of any dirt and deposits. by ScegliAuto More videos
