To replace the sunroof on an Audi Q5, remove the courtesy light housing by pulling it out of its socket to disconnect the connectors for the sunroof mechanism. This will free the piece from the electronic components, allowing you to unscrew all the screws that secure the sunroof within its sliding tracks. Once the sunroof is free, remove it from the top of the vehicle so you can insert the new one. The new sunroof must be properly secured with screws and connected.
