In this short and simple guide we will see how to disassemble and replace the coolant temperature sensor of the Audi TT 1.8T. First, we open the bonnet of our car and start locating our temperature sensor; we remove the upper plastic cover to access the sensor, which we find to the right of the head, as shown in the video. At this point we are going to remove the tab or the sensor retainer, disconnecting its electrical connector to remove it; then we install the new sensor, replacing the gasket and fixing it correctly!
