To replace the timing chain on an Audi Q5, access the left side of the engine block where the chain is located. First, remove the plastic cover, then take off the right front wheel along with the corresponding wheel well.

At this point, loosen the bolts securing the tensioner to reduce the tension on the chain and replace it with a new part. After the replacement, reinstall all the components that were removed earlier.
