How to Replace the Valve Cover Gasket on an Audi A4?

To replace the valve cover gasket on an Audi A4, first detach the plastic cover from the top of the engine block; then disconnect the fuel injectors and loosen their mounting bolts to remove them from their housing. Now, all the bolts securing the valve cover can be unscrewed, and the cover itself can be removed: the old gasket can now be peeled off from its bottom, allowing the new one to be glued in place. After installation, reattach the cover to the top of the engine block, reinstalling all previously removed parts.
