To replace the timing belt on the Audi A4, open the hood and remove the front right wheel along with the corresponding wheel well cover. This will allow you to detach the side covers located to the left of the engine block, giving you access to the belt underneath. By loosening the central nut of the tensioner pulley, you can reduce the tension on the belt, remove it from its housing, and replace it with a new part. After the replacement, reattach the pulley and reinstall all previously removed parts.
