How to Disable the Passenger Airbag on the Audi A4

Model: Audi A4 B8 - Years 2007-2016

If you need to place a child seat in the passenger seat, you must disable the airbag to prevent serious injury in the event of a collision. To disable it, follow these steps:
- Remove the metal key (blade) from the remote;
- Open the glove compartment on the passenger side;
- Locate the lock that controls the passenger airbag device;
- Insert the key and turn the arrow to off;
- Reinsert the blade into the remote;
- When you turn on the ignition, the light will indicate that the passenger airbag is disabled.
