What to do in case of a fuel door lock in an Audi?

In our Audi, it may happen that the fuel door gets stuck, making it impossible to refuel, for example due to a malfunction of the actuator or the control button. In this case, we can still perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First of all, we open the trunk door, then we detach the panel on the right wall and locate the red cord. At this point, we pull the cord forcefully towards the rear side of the vehicle in order to release the door lock.
