How to Replace the Thermostat on an Audi A3?

To replace the thermostat on an Audi A3, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. On the right side, you will find the alternator, which must be removed for better access to the components underneath. Disconnect the coolant hose by loosening the corresponding retaining clip. At this point, the thermostat can be extracted from its housing, allowing you to insert a new one; after installation, refit all the components you previously removed.
