In this guide, we will see the main instructions on how to remove and replace the thermostat on the Audi A3 2.0 TDI. First, lift the vehicle and begin by removing the lower plastic cover by unscrewing the fastening screws; then disconnect the coolant pipe, draining the fluid into a container, as illustrated in the video.

Next, unscrew the thermostat screws and disconnect the pipes to remove it, disconnecting the electrical connector of the valve sensor; install the new original thermostat and finally top up with the new antifreeze.
