Replacing the Alternator on the Audi TT 2.0 TFSI

This guide provides the main instructions for removing and replacing the alternator on the Audi TT 2.0 TFSI. First, open the hood and remove the plastic engine cover; then disconnect the intake hose and loosen the tensioner, removing the belt from the alternator as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the mounting bolts of the alternator, disconnect the electrical wiring to remove it, and replace it with the new one; reassemble the alternator and replace the serpentine belt if necessary!
