To disable the passenger airbag on an Audi A4, remove the key from the remote. Once removed, open the glove compartment on the front passenger side to locate the lock that allows you to activate and deactivate the airbag inside. After locating the lock, insert the key and turn it from ON to OFF. You will notice that the indicator light signaling the airbag is disabled will appear.
