Part: Shocks

Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the vehicle securely. Remove the bolts and take off the wheel. Unscrew and extract the retaining pins from the suspension arm using a 16 mm wrench and push them out. Use penetrating spray to ease the process. Also disconnect the steering tie rod.
Using a wrench and a ratchet, remove the suspension bolts and detach the shock absorber. Remove the protective cover in the engine compartment by unscrewing the three bolts at the top of the suspension with a 16 mm wrench, and perform the same operation on the other shock absorber after removing the expansion tank. Remove the entire suspension assembly and clean off any deposits with a wire brush. Using the appropriate equipment, compress the spring to allow for the removal of the worn shock absorber and replace it with a new one. Also replace the spring and rubber boot. Reinstall the suspension on the vehicle in reverse order.
