In this video, you will see how the rubber cover of the buttons on the Audi A3 remote control can deteriorate over time, necessitating its replacement. Release the latch and use a lever to open the rear shell, remove the battery, and unscrew the three Torx6 screws that secure the two shells.

Carefully lift the upper shell and rotate it to free the spring of the latch mechanism and remove it. Use a lever to remove the white plastic section that blocks the base of the buttons. Pull it out, remove the worn rubber, and replace it with a new one, inserting it into its seat and reassembling the remote control by reversing the steps.
