Audi A3 - Video tutorial

Model: Audi A3 MK 3, 8V - Years 2012-2019
Part: Key
Operation: Replacement of the rubber cover of the buttons on the Audi A3 MK3 remote control.

In this video we see how the rubber covering of the buttons on the Audi A3 remote control can deteriorate over time, and therefore we need to replace it. We snap open the blade and with a lever we open the back shell, remove the battery and unscrew the three torx6 screws that secure the two shells, carefully lift the upper one and rotate it to release the spring of the blade mechanism and remove it. With a lever we remove the white plastic section that locks the base of the buttons. We remove it, remove the worn rubber and replace it with a new one, insert it into its seat and reassemble the remote control by proceeding backwards with the operations.
