How do you reset the automatic gearbox of the Audi A3?

In order to reset the automatic transmission of the Audi A3, you need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the ignition key: then you will need to hold down the accelerator pedal for about 30 seconds. At this point, after this interval of time has passed, you can release the pedal and turn off the instrument panel: now, when the instrument panel is turned on again, the automatic transmission will have been reset and all stored values will be returned to their original settings. Driving for a few kilometers, the electronics will adapt again to your driving style.
