As shown in this tutorial, removing the taillights on an Audi S6 is a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure the key is not in the ignition for safety.

Start by opening the trunk lid, then disengage the plastic panel located on the inner edge of the taillight in question. Next, unscrew the two bolts that were just freed using a Torx T25 wrench, pull the light outward, and separate it from the body.

Once the power connector is disconnected, you can install the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
