When an electrical component in the Audi A6 stops working without an apparent reason, the cause may be the protective fuse. To check, locate the box containing the fuses: open the driver's door and in the dashboard section next to the steering wheel, you will find a plastic panel.

After opening it with a pry tool, you will see the fuse plate. To quickly identify the fuse related to the component in question, consult the diagram found in the owner's manual.
