This "Service" reset operation on the BMW S1000R is performed using the MotoScan app and OBDLink. First, position your motorcycle in a stable and safe position to work on it safely, ensuring the operator's safety. Turn on the ignition and connect your tablet (with the MotoScan app installed) to the onboard computer using the OBDLink socket. Launch the app on the tablet and select the model corresponding to your motorcycle from the menu. Once inside, various control options will appear, which you can act upon. Select the "Instrumentation" option, then the "Service Reset" option. Now, press the "Reset" button next to all the available options. Turn off the ignition and you’re done!
