"Service" reset on BMW motorcycles.

This "Service" reset operation in the BMW S1000R is performed using the MotoScan app and the OBDLink. So, once we place our motorcycle in a stable and safe position to be able to work on it in safe conditions and thus guarantee the operator's safety, we access the panel and connect our tablet (on which we have installed the MotoScan app) to the on-board computer using the OBDLink socket. We launch the app on the tablet and choose, through the menu, the model corresponding to our bike. Once inside, we are presented with the various control items, on which we can act. We select the item "Instrumentation" and, then, the item "Service reset". Now, we press the "Reset" button, corresponding to all the items present. We turn off the panel and that's it!

Changing the gearbox oil of the Aprilia Rx 50

In this video tutorial we will see how to change the transmission oil of the Aprilia Rx 50 2-stroke enduro motorcycle, following these simple and quick steps. First of all, we put our motorcycle on the stand and begin to unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes; after which we unscrew the screws of the oil filter cover, replacing the cartridge with the new one. At this point we unscrew the gear oil filler screw, top up and finally check the transmission oil level!
