How to change the oil and engine oil filter of the BMW S1000RR

The guide shows how to change the BMW S1000RR engine oil. The first operation to perform is to turn on the motorbike engine for a few minutes to make the lubricant less viscous. To make the oil change procedure more effective, it is a good idea to add a cleaning additive to the oil in the tank; restart the engine for a few minutes to allow the fluid to circulate well. At this point it is possible to remove the left engine guard to access the parts to be serviced. After having positioned a container to properly dispose of the used oil, unscrew the drain plug located on the bottom of the engine; waiting for all the fluid to drain, unscrew the oil filter and replace it with a new one, remembering to lubricate the gasket. Refit the drain plug and clean any oil residues. Fill the tank with the new oil and turn it on for a few minutes. Recheck the fluid level before taking the road.

How do you change the Piaggio MP3 engine oil?

The Piaggio MP3 engine oil change is carried out by unscrewing the oil drain plug which is positioned in the lower part of the bike, immediately in front of the rear wheel. Once the cap has been opened, it will be possible to let the used oil flow into a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug there will be the oil filter, which must be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After the replacement, it will also be possible to close the drain plug and top up from the special vent.
