When the radio on the BMW 5 Series model E60 stops working, it is necessary to replace the related fuse. The fuse in question is number 36, rated at 10 Amps, located inside the fuse box under the hood.

To replace the fuse, open the box and insert a new fuse with the same amperage. After replacing the fuse, test the radio by turning it on and, if necessary, entering the unlock code.

If the problem persists, it may be necessary to replace the radio connector.
