The replacement of the gear knob is a simple and quick operation. To replace the gear knob of the BMW 1 Series, we simply need to shift the gear into second gear and with decisive movements pull upwards, without breaking the movement mechanism. Once removed, you just need to insert the new knob into the gear lever, bringing it to neutral and then pushing the knob inwards. If the knob is a bit loose due to its size, you can insert some adhesive tape on the inner edge. Before hitting the road, test the operation of the gear lever.
