The following instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the gear shift knob of the BMW 1 Series, in simple and quick steps. First, we get into the car and start by detaching the shift boot from the base; then we detach the gear shift knob from the lever, pulling it upwards with force, as shown in the video. At this point, if necessary, we also replace the shift boot, first securing the boot and then inserting the knob (securing it correctly); if necessary, we secure the gear shift knob with the boot, inserting a clamp between them.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
