Removing the Gear Knob on BMW Series 1

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the gear knob on a BMW Series 1. First, get inside the vehicle and remove the gaiter by unclipping it from the sides, as shown in the video. Then separate the frame from the gaiter and, with some force, pull the gear knob upwards to extract it. Now insert the new gaiter along with the knob, securing it firmly, and finally reassemble the gear frame. If desired, you can place a tie wrap between the knob and gaiter to ensure everything stays secure.
