Today we will explain how to replace the battery of a BMW 5 Series remote control produced from 2010 to 2017. Before replacing the battery, we need to purchase the new CR 2450 model battery, which can be bought online or in stores. To replace the battery, we need to press the button on the back of the remote control to remove the top part and extract the metal key inside the remote control. After removing the key, insert it into the right corner and with a slight pressure, remove the cover of the remote control. Using a small flat-head screwdriver, remove the old battery and insert the new one. Close the remote control cover by pressing on the sides and insert the top part inside. Stand in front of the vehicle to test the remote control's functionality.
