Video tutorial

In this video we see how to open the front hood of a BMW X5 G05; it is certainly a simple operation, but it has some peculiarities that still distinguish it from many other cars. The lever to open the hood is in the classic position, in the driver's footwell, but it must be activated not once, but twice.

If you are used to the single action, the hood will not open and you will immediately think there is a malfunction. Then we will have to go to the front of the car and put our hand under the slight opening that we have generated with the lever.

Now we lift the hood: we do not need any rod, because the hood has a pneumatic support.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?

On the instrument cluster of the MG ZS, the tire pressure light that appears can be reset by inflating the tires to the correct pressure: this value will be indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's door pillar. Once the tires have been properly inflated, you can turn on the instrument cluster and navigate through the menu until you find the option that indicates tire pressure: if this screen shows the new values, the light will turn off; otherwise, you will need to drive for a few miles so that the sensors can read the new values and turn off the light afterward.
