How to replace the diesel filter on BMW 5 Series? Let's see how to remove and replace the diesel filter: we lift the car on a column bridge, we identify the diesel filter as in the video. With a socket wrench we unscrew the locking pins located near the container (disconnect the cables and the various tubes from the filter with a screwdriver) where the diesel filter is located. Once the filter has been removed, remove it from the car (replace it with a new filter). Finally we reassemble the filter to the attached container of the diesel filter (we connect pipes and cables) and tighten the appropriate pins. We close the front hood finally.
